Borderlands Series

Artists exist on the border of imagination and reality. In order to bring new things to the world, we have to cross over the border of the unimagined. Most of the time, this is a short trip to see what’s there and report back. Sometimes we linger there, delaying our return to “reality” to enjoy a much richer narrative. For most, these crossing carry no downside, some can suffer a “jet-lag” of sorts dealing with mundane realities. A few people get lost over this border and can’t find their way back. These works are about the crossings of those lines and a call to those that are still lost there.
