Pattern Series
The pattern series is an effort to interpret past imagery into pattern paintings for use on textiles. Elements that were used in the background for figurative works have been brought to the forefront and recognized as strong and viable images that stand on their own. The images are painted on canvas in a full block repeat. Each colorway is hand painted.
